TLDR: New monsters, stages, sidekicks, and fixes!

Hello! 

This update contains mostly new graphics and fixes for major errors. The unfortunate thing is that I wasn’t aware of how WebGL saves work on itch.io and I wasn’t aware that it works differently.  Why unfortunate? Because it means all your saves are lost, but thanks to that, you will be able to see all the new monsters and stages from first level. :D
I hope that next time you will be able to keep your update!

In the next updates, I want to mainly focus on creating unique Overlord battles. Overlords are special boss variants that will appear throughout the current world (set of stages) and each time return stronger and more difficult to beat. Furthermore, dealing with him will require much more than only observing as his HP bar is decreasing. 

Additionally, I'll try to fix as many bugs as possible and add some basic animations and audio.

Details:

ADDED:

  • 5 new stages
  • Icon and name for sidekicks
  • Description for sidekick upgrades
  • Skill icons

FIXES:

  • Adjusted save method for itch.io
  • Added offline (idle) progress when your tab/browser is inactive.
  • Offline Progress dialog doesn't inform the player that they earn 0 gold on the first run
  • Adjusted dialog sizes and now you can't open more than one dialog at the same time
  • Removed confusing text ("reward in progress") from achievements and changed it to "reward in next updates"
  • Now only one particle at a time is visible when you are clicking on a monster
  • Fixed the problem when there were no particles when you clicked on a boss
  • When a dialog is open, particles are not visible
  • Fixed the problem when sometimes kills give more than 1 progress point
  • Fixed when the boss timer runs out there is a crashing error
  • Now player power upgrade correctly shows starting damage
  • Player upgrades are saved properly
  • Fixed the problem when buy skills buttons were not indicating insufficient amount of gold
  • Fixed the problem when player upgrades and sidekicks were not indicating insufficient amount of gold

CHANGES:

  • Now bosses spawn every 10 stages
